Piercing

No, sorry, those piercings tend not to heal properly and we do not do them.
For cartilage/nose piercings you need to wait at least 4-6 months of healing before putting a hoop in. The initial healing process for piercings is when they are most susceptible to pressure bumps, keloids, and hypertropic scarring. If you put a hoop in before the piercing is healed enough - those problems almost always occur. Even AFTER a piercing is healed, hoops still have a higher chance of generating problems due to the nature of a hoop applying more pressure on one side of the piercing than the other. Whenever a hoop is installed in a healed piercing always keep a close eye over the next several weeks for signs of "Piercing Bumps" and come see us if you do notice any issues.
First, let's describe the difference between the two:
Piercing Bump
A piercing bump is usually irritation or scar tissue caused by trauma to the piercing. Common causes include:
Jewelry moving too much
Sleeping on it
Incorrect jewelry size/material
Cleaning too aggressively
Infection or irritation
What it looks like:
Small raised bump near the piercing hole
Pink, red, or flesh-colored
May crust, leak a little clear fluid, or fluctuate in size
Usually stays close to the piercing itself
Common types:
Irritation bump
Hypertrophic scar (a thickened scar that stays within the piercing area)
Good news: These often improve with proper jewelry, reduced irritation, and time.
Keloid
A keloid is an overgrowth of scar tissue caused by the body producing too much collagen during healing.
What it looks like:
Firm, smooth, rubbery growth
Often shiny and darker than surrounding skin
Continues growing beyond the original piercing site
Doesn’t usually shrink on its own
Keloids are more common:
On ears, chest, shoulders, and jawline
In people with a family history of keloids
In darker skin tones, though anyone can get them
Keloids can be treated by installing "No Pull" piercing discs on your piercing. We have them available here at the shop, here is more information about no pull piercing discs. https://www.nopullpiercing.com/
AS ALWAYS, PLEASE consult with us before engaging in any treatment for any problem with your piercing!
No, we do not.
Yes we do! Pricing for baby ear lobes is $120 including jewelry.
All piercings are performed with surgical needles using hypoallergenic implant-grade titanium jewelry.
We recommend clients do the following before getting pierced:
1) Have something to eat within 2-3 hours BEFORE coming in for a piercing. Low-blood sugar makes it more likely a client will pass out or become naseous during the piercing. It doesn't have to be a large meal, but do make sure you've had something to eat before coming in.
2) Good night's sleep.
3) No alcohol consumption on the day you'd like to get pierced.
Yes! All jewelry used in piercing and sold at our shop is hypoallergenic implant-grade titanium ASTM F136 . This is to ensure maximum biocompatibility.
